Update!

Hello all. I am so sorry I haven’t wrote a blog post in so long! My grandma just found out that she got cancer for the third time! I am trying to spend as much time with her as possible. I am knitting some stuff up right now! I am actually making my own design. It is a colorwork design. I will keep you guys updated! It is going to be a baby hat! It is girly. Okay I am done with the hints! I will be doing a giveaway when the pattern is done because it won’t be available until I can be able to sell them which will be when I am 18. So just hang in there!

 

Update!

The weather has kind of calmed down a bit today, still raining but not thundering and lightening… I am still working away on my cross stitch. Still not much done. (I got a Nintendo DS on Saturday and am not crafting as much as usual!) I am sure to get back soon!

Tornado Warnings

Sorry, I haven’t updated my blog in a while… I have been stuck in the house because everywhere is closed due to the lightening storms here in Sandpoint. The lightening storm is so bad that we have tornado warnings… I will update when this weather stops…

Cross Stitch Is Back!

Yes I said it, cross stitching is back! I haven’t cross stitched for like ever it seems like! I recently got a cross stitch kit as a gift. I am in love all over again!

I-Cords

Okay, so I have heard so much about how easy i-cords are. So I decided on making one for my ties on my booties… I am doing the first one! I am terrified! I can’t seem to get the stitches the right tension… It reminds me of when I was a beginner it looks so bad! I am thinking I just want to use a crochet chain now… It looks that bad!

Casting On

My favorite part of knitting is the cast on. There are so many varigations to just string loops onto a needle. My favorite way of casting on would have to be the long-tail cast on, because it is the fastest. Today the weather is very crummy! We are having thunderstorms… I actually had written this post three times now because the power had gone off…

Today I am going to try my first pair of socks with a heel flap. I made some socks before, but they used short rows… I decided to use a pattern I already have… Plus it is from the Yarn Harlot!

Baby Xavier

The best thing that happened this year is that my nephew was born! He was born on March 10,2012. He is such a sweetheart! I babysit him almost every weekend!

I will never get over how cute he is.

When I found out my sister was pregnant, I started my baby knitting spree… I made a bunch of baby GIRL knits not considering it could possibly be a boy… That is what I get for not considering the other possibilities…

I am finally out of school, yesterday was my last day. Woo-Hoo! Now it is officially summer! I now need to find out what I am going to knit next…
